Maintenace Technician

Responsibilities

CARO or CIRO Certification preferred

 Stationary Engineers License preferred.

 PLC experience a plus.

 Demonstrable experience with steam plant operations

 HAZMAT training.

 Support the production of safe, high quality products and team member safety

 Complies with all Safety, GMP, PSM and RMP regulations.

 Ability to pass a HAZMAT physical.

 Prepares requisitions for materials/parts required to complete work orders.

 Creates work orders, closes them when complete, and accounts for time spent on tasks in our

computerized Maint. Management System.

 Follows all company rules, policies and procedures.

 Maintains membership and training in the company emergency response team as outlined by

OSHA, 29 CFR 1910.120 (HAZMAT)

 Must be forklift certified or obtain the qualification within the probationary period.

 Valid New York State Driver’s License.

 Availability to work a variable schedule on occasion to cover other team member time off.

The essential functions of this role include:

• working in a smoke free environment

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 50lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
