Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent and three years of experience in the review of data and/or database experience.

This position requires that the incumbent will report to the official work location and live within commuting distance to the official work location. Telecommuting may not be available. If telecommuting is available, the incumbent will be required to have a telephone/mobile device, and internet access.

Preferred Qualifications

At least two years of computer database experience. Experience with SQL database systems. Experience with the emergency medical service system as a provider. Experience with NEMSIS compliant data documentation systems. Experience in computer programming and project work. Experience preparing and analyzing data reports.

Responsibilities

The EMS Data Aide will assist with reporting for the Emergency Medical Services for Children (EMSC) grant from the ePCR NEMSIS data repositories. The incumbent will support the Data and Informatics Unit with establishing, maintaining and updating files and tracking systems related to specific pediatric data benchmarks and reports required for grant reporting, pediatric data quality measures and pediatric program assessment and development. Additional duties include answering phone call inquiries, responding to data submission inquiries, conducting follow-up to data submission and transaction inquiries, preparing and reviewing data quality reports, and other duties as assigned.

Conditions of Employment

Grant funded position through March 31, 2023. Compliance with funding requirements such as time and effort reporting, grant deliverables, and contract deliverables, is required.
