Tokyo Electron Wafer Process Intern in Albany, New York
*Help lead the effort to improve wafer production efficiency by analyzing the processing of the wafers and suggesting time and cost savings
*Invent new techniques when necessary to deal with improving wafer moves
*Create automatic report writing, improving methods and aggregation.
*Design Excel macros automating data extraction from CNSE reports.
*Consolidate databases on the Global Wafer Service to improve the capability and quality of the program.
*Collaborate with teams of researchers to improve engineer's effectiveness and improve the Global Wafer Service on the web
*Assist Wafer Service team in bringing new requests to and from the fab, as well as moving lots through the line.
*Measure top down critical dimensions of lots by CDSEM
*X-sectioning will be needed for some lots.
*U.S. work authorization is required.
*A current college student pursuing bachelors or advanced degree in nano technology, or related field
*Training will be provided for the logistic systems used as well as Basic Semiconductor flow if needed.
*Training also provided for Hitatchi top down CD measure.
*Experience with Microsoft VBA and data visualization tools, such as Excel is a plus.
*Ability to take direction and feedback, also work independently when required.
*Ability to perform X-section on Hitatchi SEM strongly desired
*Ability to work full time during the summer and part-time during the school year, preferred.
