Job Description
Lunchables Back & Front Service Operator
The Kraft Heinz Company is currently seeking a Lunchables Back & Front Service Operator to work at our processing facility in Avon, NY. Ideal candidates must be safety and quality orientated and willing to actively participate in a team orientated, fast paced work environment. This position requires individuals to perform general production duties in a food manufacturing environment following strict quality and safety standards. Currently hiring for second and third shift positions.

Minimum Qualifications:
Quality testing and record keeping duties of this position make it necessary for the operator to read, write and perform basic arithmetic calculations.
Candidates must be available to work all shifts including second, third & weekends, holidays and overtime (over 8 hours daily and over 40 hours within a week).
Prior manufacturing experience is preferred
Benefits & Compensation Overview:
$15.18/hour, plus:
A $.30 shift differential for those working on second shift.
A $.40 shift differential for those who working on third shift.
Daily Overtime for work performed in excess of 8 hours
Daily Double Time for work performed in excess of 12 hours

Our plant was established in 1906. Today, the facility manufacturers various Lunchables and Cool Whip products. Some fun facts about our plant are:
Sole producer of Cool Whip (tubs) for all of North America
Once a manufacturer of frozen produce (Birdseye), the facility counts with a giant cooler space.
Ammonia systems size is approximately 95,000 lbs.
493,000 sq. ft. production space on a 67 acre site.

A Back Service/Front Service position in the Lunchables Department will be responsible for maintaining Lunchables products. This involves providing raw materials to the lines. All done within specific Quality/GMP procedures. Follow the plant safety rules.
Employee will be responsible for insuring the integrity and quality of product by verification with the production schedule and the Bill of Materials. Provide the appropriate materials for production based on the SKU being ran from the production schedule. Employee will be accountable for paperwork and making sure that the paperwork is correct and maintained. Employee will sign-off paperwork, verifying that the material is correct and that the code date is correct (through checks with bill of materials and production schedule. Labeling of raw materials for returning to storage areas. Employee will be expected to rotate from position on a daily/weekly basis.

Consideration will be given to individual qualifications and seniority in making the final selection among applicants for this job. Applicants must be willing to work any shift, maintain work area in compliance with plant rules and practices of safety, conduct, sanitation, good housekeeping and quality. All Production Workers may also perform additional duties as directed by the Supervisor.

Employee responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Maintaining a clean, neat orderly workstation.
Ability to read a line schedule, production schedule, and bill of materials after training is complete.
Employee must be able to stand for the duration of the shift.
Employee must have hand eye coordination.
Understanding the process of requesting and returning materials.
Basic understanding of QCDSM and how it affects the daily production work environment.
Basic understanding of OEE and its uses.
Stay late to complete end of shift paperwork and removal of raw and finished goods.
Follow the raw material limit guidelines for production
