Upstate Niagara Cooperative, Inc. Cooler/Warehouse Relief Production Supervisor in Batavia, New York
Working within the limits of authority and within Company policies and procedures, directs the activities of the operation in areas of Trailer Load-Out, Receiving raw materials, Inventory Control of warehouse goods, Production, Maintenance and Quality Control. The Cooler/Warehouse Relief Production Supervisor is to maintain all shipping and load-out activities efficiently while maintaining production efficiently and safely within established policy and processes. This position will involve covering for the existing Supervisor vacations and scheduled days off. The position will demand the individual be able to work all three shifts and well as different days of the week.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Achievement of established department goals of load-out and production volume, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
Provides leadership and guidance to employees for the purpose of development and establishing a good working atmosphere.
Coordinate daily load-out and production activities in order to meet business objectives.
Coordinate daily inbound deliveries (Follow-up on all SQF requirements).
Communicate non compliances in a timely fashion to appropriate Managers for corrective action.
Assigns job responsibilities to employees, according to policies to meet planned shipping, staging and production schedules ensuring that the proper equipment repair and operating techniques are followed.
Monitors the verification of records, products and receiving of raw materials.
Maintains inventory control of all warehouse goods.
Monitors changes in employee morale and works to resolve problems within his/her department.
Maintains employee records such as time sheets, absences, tardy records, overtime, and safety as required for the department. (Daily Pallet Truck Check-Off)
Maintains product/code rotation of Cooler and Warehouse inventory.
Responsible for assigned safety program. (Weekly/Monthly proactive safety measurements)
Month end Inventory - reconcile and report differences
Conduct accident investigation as needed.
Responsible for Cooler/Warehouse employee job performance, including safety, orientation, training and discipline. Assure compliance with employee relation’s policies and programs.
Monitor and enforce all Cooler policies.
Instruct and train present and future employees as needed
Coordinates load-out schedules, production runs, bills of lading and trailer inventories.
Lead continuous improvement activities to improve safety losses, performance results, processes and costs.
Coordinates with production and purchasing in monitoring inventory control and variances of all shipping, packaging and processing supplies.
Support new ERP Project with IT
Responsible for assigned safety program.
High school diploma
Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate people

Must show enthusiasm, initiative, pride in work and a commitment to the organization and its mission
Good computer skills, demonstrating proficiency in MS Windows, Word and Excel
