Manufacturing Assembler

job summary:

Great client is looking for motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast paced. Candidate will be working on building lights for Boeing 737 aircraft. Must be reliableand be able to support the production department doing:

  • Mechanical assembly of raw materials

  • Utilize different hand tools

  • QC Inspections

location: Bohemia, New York

work hours: 8am to 4pm

education: High School

responsibilities:

Seeking motivated individuals who are looking to join a fast-paced, growing organization to work in the production department doing:

  • Mechanical assembly of raw materials

  • Utilize different hand tools

  • QC Inspections

Candidate will be working on building lights for Boeing 737 aircraft. Line works off of Tact Time for tracking purposes and to make sure production needs are being met.

Experience Needed:

  • 1-3 years of prior Assembly experience is required

  • Ability to read blueprints, drawings and schematics is a plus.

  • Candidate must be able to STAND for their whole shift

  • Currently these are temp positions only, however, if the FTE position opens and the candidate performs well, manager will consider FTE conversion.

  • Hours are M-F 7a-3:30p - With option for overtime during busy times.

  • Must wear safety glasses

  • A minimum of a high school diploma /(GED)

  • Experience level: Entry Level

  • Minimum 2 years of experience

  • Education: High School (required)

skills:

  • assembly (1 year of experience is required)

  • QC inspection (1 year of experience is preferred)

  • Reading Blueprints (1 year of experience is preferred)
