As the Logistics Clerk, you will handle the mail on the floor, ensuring mail is being prioritized so that all Service Level Agreements are met. You'll brainstorm ideas with team and managers how to make processes more efficient and be responsible for following through to ensure every job is paid for accurately and in entirety. You will prepare and load mail, review and submit the manifest documents and present them to the USPS and Presort Vendors.

  • This is a temporary, contract role.

  • Some of your responsibilities will include:

  • Ensure mail is being prioritized so that all SLA’s are met

  • Communicate with other areas of Production/Vendors to ensure we have all the information we need to plan when large jobs release or should be preloaded.

  • Knowledge of Outlook-Good communication skills to write recaps to the team or to respond to QC/Production questions.

  • Brainstorm ideas with team and managers how to make processes more efficient.

  • Be able to utilize Production Reports to ensure mail is not released before it should be and to make sure jobs are prioritized accurately.

  • Work to understand Vendor rules/regulations for mailings.

  • Perform tasks for accurate tracking of all incoming and outgoing mail using the Production systems and software.

  • Review and submit the manifest documents and present them to the Presort Vendors.

  • 9.Ensure proper documentation is maintained. Research issues and trouble shoot problems.

  • Prepare & Load mail on the floor for presort vendors.

  • Follow through to ensure every job is scanned to the appropriate database accurately and timely.

  • Be able to effectively prioritize and manage workload in an 8-hour period.

  • Other duties as assigned.

  • We are seeking the following experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree preferred.

  • 2-3 years of experience within a high volume production environment.

  • Ability to operate a PC and be literate in using application software such as Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word.

  • Availability for flexible schedule and overtime required and the commitment to consistently work
