We are seeking a Product Designer with deep UI/UX expertise to help design and develop the next-generation of RTX apps, products and services. As a member of a collaborative, cross-functional team, you will help define the concrete, tangible aspects of a product, from look-and-feel to discrete interactions. Your core responsibilities will be to to synthesize user perspectives, business needs and interaction design documentation into beautiful, functional and pixel-accurate designs and collaborate with developers to bring those designs to life.

What you’ll do

  • Be able to communicate and present work effectively

  • Liaise with production discipline and design team to ensure deadlines are met

  • Drive the evolution of Raytheon's visual language and user experience (Rotor)

  • Creating pixel-perfect UI that can be passed to developers and other business stakeholders

  • Helping define, review and refine user stories, prototypes, and related project documentation, especially those that deal with presentation layer details of a product experience

  • Collaborate closely with Engineering, Content Strategy, User Research and Product Management teams

  • Be a team player and a positive addition to our company culture


  • Candidates for this role should possess a Bachelor’s degree and five years of prior relevant experience or an Advanced degree and three years of prior relevant experience

  • BA/BS degree in Design, HCI, CS, or related experience

  • Excellent working knowledge of design software Figma, Sketch, Principle,Invision, Keynote, and PowerPoint

  • Ability to convey concepts through sketches, moodboards, wireframes, prototypes and/or high-fidelity visual designs

  • Propensity for self-directed problem-solving and the ability to work with limited guidance

  • Accuracy and obsessive attention to details and fundamentals

  • Familiarity with accessibility standards and how to design for them
