Aerotek is currently looking to hire a Pharmacy Clerk for a pharmacy located in Cicero, NY. This candidate will have the opportunity to be promoted into a Pharmacy Technician role. The weekly schedule is Mon-Fri from 7am - 3:30pm with occasion weekends approximately once a month.

Responsibilities:

• Assist with processing and packaging prescriptions or paperwork with accuracy, attention to detail, and efficiency

• Prioritize and multi-task to complete the processing for time-sensitive medications

• Proactively partner with the Pharmacy and Operations teams to address issues and achieve high quality and throughput in fast-growing, technology-empowered pharmacy

• Assist with ordering, price negotiation, deliveries and shipments; maintain inventory; ensure organization and order of pharmacy at all times

• Pitch in with team efforts across Pharmacy to develop process and procedure at a fast-growing start-up company

• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance

• Coordinate Pharmacy and Operations partnership and correspondence regarding pricing, order status, and answering frequently asked questions

• Assist in day-to-day operations with pharmacy order rejections, answering patient questions, and screening new prescription requests

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent

• Experience working in a fast-paced setting

• Extreme attention to detail

• Flexibility to work in high-change environment

• Excellent organization and communication skills
