Children's Village Unidos Por Un Sueno Medical Coordinator in Dobbs Ferry, New York
Position Overview: The ORR Medical Coordinator is responsible for uploading all documentation into the federal portal system. The ORR Medical Coordinator works collaboratively with DIHS, shelter facility and third party payer to provide prior approval and to resolve all billing disputes. The ORR Medical Coordinator must also maintain all resident records in accordance with the HIPPA LAW and agency guidelines.
Minimum HSD/GED. BA/BS preferred. Minimum one year office experience required.
A genuine respect for and interest in children and their families of diverse racial and ethnic identity; an ability to form a therapeutic relationship with children and their families.
Ability to put into practice all techniques of Therapeutic Crisis Intervention (as taught in pre-employment training) and demonstrate respect for client’s rights and safety.
Ability to demonstrate effective counseling techniques.
Valid Driver’s License.
Spanish fluency needed
