Aerotek HVAC Service Technician in East Syracuse, New York


A leading regional mechanical contractor based out of Syracuse, NY. They are also an affiliate of Comfort Systems USA, a leading Mechanical Contractor in the nation.

They are seeking to hire 2 HVAC Service Technicians to join their existing team of 12 techs. The two positions are open due to growth and W&A gaining client market share in Syracuse.

The Commercial Service Technician is responsible for maintenance and repair of HVAC systems utilizing their knowledge of refrigeration theory, electrical schematics, pneumatic and electronic control systems, pipe fitting, welding/brazing and mechanical layouts. They utilize tablets for all of their work orders and have a proprietary system called Coins. Service techs work on everything form wind air conditioning units all the way up to chillers, boilers and roof top units.

Service techs will start on the PM teams, and then they will move to service calls after they have been trained through W&A.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Commercial experience is a PLUS, not a MUST. They have had some success hiring candidates from a strong residential experience. EPA (I,II, universal) are a PLUS, not a must. They can be certified by W&A Chillers Boilers Rooftop Units Blowers HV
