Long Island Select Healthcare Inc. (LISH) is a comprehensive network of community health centers under a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) model. We provide Article 16 and 28 clinic services at 3 locations across Suffolk County, New York.
LISH is searching for a part-time Jr. Human Resources Assistant to help support the Human Resources Department through completing administrative tasks designed to keep the HR Department organized and operating smoothly.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Assists HR Department with special projects.
Participates in Employee Engagement Projects through interviewing staff, creating content, and posting on Yammer.
Assists with updating of Employee newsletter.
Assists with creating ID Badges for New Hires & Existing employees.
Prepares New Hires by setting up Welcome Packet.
Supports a paperless filing system by converting existing paper files to an electronic format.
Files papers and documents into appropriate employee files.
Assists with student intern/volunteer paperwork & tracking.
Makes photocopies, faxes documents, scans & shreds, processes mail, and performs other clerical functions.
Assists the HR Department with Event planning, coordination, organization, correspondence, etc.
Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment.
Maintains employee confidence and protects operations by keeping human resource information confidential.
Performs other duties as assigned.
