Randstad Melville is looking to hire a Quality Inpector for a well known company in Hicksville, NY. As the quality inspector, you will uphold the safety regulations of our company and supervise the production process to guarantee that all our products meet quality expectations. The chosen candidate will perform regular product evaluations, record inspection results, and recommend improvements to the production process. work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM

Responsibilities

• Knowledge of GMP and verify that all employees are following it.

• Conduct checks of products and gauge temperature control

• Inspect finish products according to customer specifications

• Ensure employees are following company safety

• Ensure employees are following sanitary procedures

• Conduct random audits of products

• Monitor and document all products

• Check quality on food production

Requirements

• Able to work in a refrigerated environment

• Able to stand for long periods of time

• Able to multitask

• Able to read and write in English

• Keep up with rapidly changing environment

The essential functions of this role include:
