Packaging

Large vitamin company is looking for material handler associates for their production team. Candidates with entry level experience are encouraged to apply, willing to train for the right candidates. Mon-Fri 7:00am-3:30pm 14.00 an hour 40 hours a week plus overtime -Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment -Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds -High written and verbal communication skills -High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred -Prior manufacturing, packaging or warehouse experience preferred -Physical ability to repetitively lift, stand, climb, bend, etc. within a manufacturing/warehouse/packaging environment for extended periods of time -Must be able to respond to verbal and written instructions in basic English -Able to work overtime as the Business requires If you are interested in learning more about this role please text Chamira at 631.339.0281 for more information!

Responsibilities

-Responsible for packaging finished product

-Visual inspection of the product

-Checking for issues on the line

-Assisting with production changeovers

-Will be placing finished product on pallets

-Must be comfortable working in a fast paced environment

-Pallet jack use to move product to shipping areas

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 45lbs

• standing for 8 hours at one time
