1)Testing Experience - The ideal candidate will have no more than 3 years of experience writing and executing manual test plans in a corporate environment. Specific course work and internship experience is a huge plus.
3)Candidates must have a degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering. Candidates should be passionate about Testing right now. This is NOT a development job. Candidates interested in Networking will not be the right fit for this group either.
-Evaluate Manual test plans to validate scanner software functionality and user documentation
-Analyze results (documentation issues, setup issues, software bugs, etc)
-Report and track defects resulting from the test effort in a bug tracking tool.
-Work with software developers and other team members to help root-cause any issues found.
-Ensure all timelines are met according to department processes.
-Document deviations to procedures.
-Provide status reports to project test lead
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Process oriented. Attention to detail. Excellent verbal/written communication skills. Leadership qualities. Tech curious. Positive energy.
The need to have some hardware experience. Not all equipment is buttoned up with plastic.
