Columbia Memorial Hospital Position Opening at Columbia Memorial in Hudson, New York
The Customer Service Coordinator will be responsible for directly overseeing the customer service area. The employee will assist patients with concerns and follow the CMH policy and procedure to resolve complaints. The Coordinator will assist with collection efforts and financial counseling to patients, as well as insurance enrollment and education to the uninsured population when needed. The Coordinator will monitor Customers Service Liaisons productivity and direct job tasks. The Coordinator will also oversee the functions of the billing payment window and customer service.
Education: Individual must have obtained a high school diploma, associates degree preferred, not necessary. Must have at least three years of health care experiencing in a customer service role.
License/Certifications: Certified Application Counselor and HBI Customer Service Certificate.
Experience: Candidate must have a minimum of three years experience in a patient billing/collection setting. Previous supervisory experience preferred. Ability to resolve conflict and exceptional troubleshooting skills.
