We are seeking compassionate and team-oriented individuals to join our spirited team. As a Career Navigator, you will provide career coaching and guidance to participants and direct them to the appropriate training/job opportunities and services. Successful Elements:Meet with participants to discuss short-term and long-term career goals and address any employment barriersUtilize industry-specific assessment tools to determine next stepsProvide career guidance and support to participants in-person and via telephoneWork with participants to co-create service plans that include a combination of job search assistance, training and internship opportunitiesCoordinate and schedule participants for internship interviews, training enrollments and appointmentsProvide a variety of community resources for participants requiring additional servicesMaintain knowledge of employment opportunities and training programs to make accurate assessments and referralsDiscuss participants’ current schedules for education, work experience or community service experience, child care, transportation and supportive servicesComplete data entry in multiple databasesCommunicate with employed participants to adjust to the demands of the workplace and discuss achievements. This includes developing problem-solving strategies to ensure they succeed in a new workplace environment.Provide retention services that include at a minimum, monthly check-ins with participants who have obtained employmentCollect, scan and organize client records for file storageRequired Experience:Required Experience:Experienced in case management, career coaching or social workExperienced in handling high volume client trafficExcellent interpersonal skillsIntermediate computer skills requiredBachelor’s degree or equivalent experienceRequired Education:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience Bring your expertise to EDSI where you will be able to live our values every day: Show Up, Smile and Support!Keyword: Case Management,Human Services,Customer Service,high volume data entryFrom: EDSI
