THIS IS A NATIONAL GUARD TITLE 5 EXCEPTED SERVICE POSITION. This National Guard position is for a INDUSTRIAL HYGIENE TECHNICIAN, Position Description Number T5429000 and is part of the ARMY AVIATION SUPPORT FACILITY 3, National Guard.


As an Industrial Hygiene Technician, GS-0640-09, you will plan, schedule, execute, manage and administer the ARNG Industrial Hygiene Program for

a state, territory, or district to maintain and promote the health of military and technician personnel.


Conditions of Employment


GENERAL EXPERIENCE: (l) Any type of work that demonstrates the applicant's ability to perform the work of the position, or (2) experience that provided a familiarity with the subject matter or processes of the broad subject area of the occupation. SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE: Experience that equipped the applicant with the particular knowledge, skills, and abilities (KSA's) to perform successfully the duties of the position, and that is typically in or related to the work of the position to be filled. To be creditable, specialized experience must have been equivalent to at least the next lower grade level. Applicants who have the 1 year of appropriate specialized experience, as indicated in the table, are not required by this standard to have general experience, education above the high school level, or any additional specialized experience to meet the minimum qualification requirements.


If you are using Education to qualify for this position, two full years of graduate education or a master's degree meets the requirements for GS-9. You must provide transcripts or other documentation to support your Educational claims. To receive credit for Education, you must provide documentation of proof that you meet the Education requirements for this position.
