Actalent Architect in Melville, New York

Description:

Architecture & Engineering firm in Melville is looking for an architect candidate with 3+ years' experience to support their commercial clients such as Starbucks, Panera, and McDonald's in the LI and NYC area. The position will require candidates to draft and put together construction documents in support of the Project Manager. Majority of the work is done in Revit, so familiarity with it is a huge plus, but employer is willing to teach to the right candidate if they have some exposure to it and are open to learning to work in it primarily. Responsibilities will include:

  • Document as-built conditions, perform code-based evaluations

  • Site visits

  • Schematic design, full construction documents

  • Coordinate with project teams for civil, MEP engineering, permitting

  • Projects include demo rebuilds, ground-up, and build-outs.

  • 90% of projects are in Revit.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in sketchup & rendering a plus.

  • Registered Architect a plus
