Description:

Melville-based electrical and heavy civil construction company is looking for an experienced heavy civil project engineer to join their team. Company has many projects in the works but examples of their work include substations at JFK Airport, an off-shore wind turbine complex in the Hamptons, and Reconstruction of the Long Beach Boardwalk. Candidate will be:

• Coordinating with the Project Managers

• Prepare/track project submittals

• Work on change orders, monthly budgets, RFIs

• Assist with purchase orders and subcontracts, and ensure project materials are approved, delivered, and tracked.

• Ensure all project information is updated and current.

Skills:

Construction management, heavy civil construction, General Contracting experience

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in general contracting preferable

• Any experience with airport work, bridge work, utility construction is preferable
