Sodexo is seeking a Chef Manager for it’s operations at Woodland Pond, a continuing care retirement community located in New Paltz, NY. The Chef Manager will have oversight of the dining operations at our restaurant style dining rooms and will ensure the proper execution of prep and production. The Chef Manager will assist in preparation of food and support the frontline team members during the service periods. This is a hands-on positon and requires high visibility in the operation.

The successful candidate will:

  • direct and supervise kitchen operations and designated front of house staff;

  • ensure that the highest possible standards of food handling and preparation are achieved;

  • control and ensure the company's and client's financial targets are achieved;

  • engage with peers, colleagues and patrons in a manner that invites interaction and feedback.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma or GED or equivalent
