Axiom Medical Testing Coordinator in New York City, New York

The Nursing Testing Admin (?Admin?) is an integral member of Axiom?s Operations Department (Operations). The Admin will play a key role in providing administrative support to our nursing staff at the client's site location when coordinating COVID-related testing needs/schedules. The Admin will be accountable for providing excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment. Additionally, the Admin will have other duties and responsibilities as determined from time to time by the Health Safety Supervisor.

Essential Functions:

The essential functions of the Admin are to:

  • Provide support services to assigned nursing staff

  • Maintain daily schedules for nursing staff, the cast and crew members

  • Prepare and process correspondence including emails/faxes

  • Answer regular non-medical inquiries

  • Process medical record requests

  • Create spreadsheets to manage all individuals on production sets for testing compliance


The successful candidate should have a combination of demonstrated experience and education that is equivalent to 2 years with a focus on medical administrative assistant or related fields.

Physical Requirements:

  • Regularly required to, stand, sit; talk, hear, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer and telephone keyboard reach,

  • Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision requirements due to computer work,

  • Light to moderate lifting is required,

  • Ability to uphold the stress of traveling,

  • Regular, predictable attendance is required.
