Overview
Deutsche Bank's Regulatory application support function is a cross business and process-aligned team who are focused on providing world-class technical operational support for Global Markets regulatory space. The primary reason for the RTB (Run the Bank) support function is to ensure platform stability for internal clients via attention to detail around daily tasks through to cross platform and cross functional stability improvement programs; this is an excellent opportunity to influence service delivery and ensure stability for our regulatory commitments.

Reporting to the local regulatory production lead, you will focus on daily support for the global regulatory application stack. You will be required to liaise with development and production services teams in other regions, e.g. London, New York, Pune, as well as with the local managers in the region. This role is very client facing and has a large amount of interaction with Operations and Development teams, so will be able to very quickly obtain a strong knowledge of the regulatory requirements such as Volcker Rule, Dodd Frank, etc.

Your Key Responsibilities:
You be will be part of a global team
Provide daily application support services to the global regulatory business units applicant searches
Active participation and initiation of global initiatives
You should be able to effectively manage production outages and changes and provide tactical solutions
You should be able to deliver and work with technology development and Infrastructure teams
Work as 1st & 2nd Line support of front office / back office applications from a face to face perspective

Your Skills and Experience:
Experience with UNIX / Linux / Hadoop/ Python / Spark - Scala / Shell scripting / with a strong knowledge of databases (Oracle SQL
Familiarity with ITIL service management frameworks
Understanding of problem management methodologies; knowledge/experience of problem management tools; experience using call/ticketing software as well as good debugging skills and able to articulate and presents analysis in a logical and well thought out manner
Be able to interact well within a team to exchange ideas; be able to interface regularly with Development members, Regulatory Operations and Finance business stakeholders, in communicating professionally on updates of issue identifications, analysis and resolutions in progress; possess the drive to own issues to resolution and completion
Knowledge of the financial service industry (mandatory), familiarity with the financial services regulatory requirements; and demonstrate passion and energy for technology and the business we are in
