Gannett Fleming is seeking Coatings professionals to perform Quality Assurance Oversight on bridge coatings projects in both field and shop environments. Projects will be located throughout the New York City Area.Education | Experience:
Successful candidates must have completed, passed and hold valid certifications for Session 1 of National Association of Corrosion Engineers (NACE1) Coating Inspector Program (CIP) and the Society for Protective Coatings (SSPC) Bridge Coating Inspector (BCI) Level I or II course. The individual shall also have a minimum of 5 years experience with bridge lead abatement and coatings application projects.
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
NACE/SSPC Level 1 Coatings Certification
Bridge Experience Preferred
Baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university in engineering, architecture or construction related field
Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft Office and Windows
Must be physically capable and willing to work outdoors, maneuver difficult terrain and pass a medical evaluation.
Excellent work ethic with attention to detail
Ability to travel, work flexible schedules and overtime
