Position will start off remote but will eventually report onsite at an office local to New York City

Document Management Analyst

  • The work requires knowledge of the document management analysis for a variety of duties in addition to general clerical and administrative office skills and an ability to apply these skills to manage the assigned workload

  • Responsibilities:

  • Performs moderately complex litigation support tasks, including, for example, detailed review and analysis of case materials in a broad range of subject matters, such as financial records, health care materials, and other litigation files; detailed indexing of case files; drafting procedures for accomplishing litigation support assignments; document acquisition related tasks

  • Administer document management system and related procedures that allow for capturing, storing, retrieving, sharing, and destroying electronic records and document

  • Proofreads and edits deliverable products to ensure accuracy and deliverables are met

  • Audit and perform detailed indexing of case files

  • Demonstrates subject knowledge of overarching policy requirements and applies requirements for documentation language, format, and content to ensure compliance

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications:

  • At least 2 year of experience with file management to include creating and purging closed case files of extraneous and inappropriate materials and tags, separates or compiles materials to be purged later according to office policies and procedures

  • 1-2 years of experience receiving telephone calls and visitors to an office environment.

  • Additionally, have experience with access control, notifying staff members of visitors or incoming phone calls; takes messages from, and gives messages to visitors and callers when staff members are unavailable

  • 1-2 years of experience with accurate data entry into various legal and financial systems with minimal errors

  • Experience in detailed review and analysis of case materials in a broad range of subject matters, such as financial records, health care materials, and other litigation files

  • Must be able to pass Minimum Background Investigation

  • Ability to type 60 words per minute
