NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Postdoc Lecturer (Biology and Genomics) in New York, New York
The New York University Department of Biology invites applications for up to three Postdoc Lecturers, to begin September 1st 2021. These are one-year appointments for those holding a PhD from NYU.
Responsibilities will include teaching the equivalent of three courses per semester (six per year), grading and holding office hours with students. The Postdoc Lecturers will likely be running 6 recitations per semester in introductory undergraduate courses such as Molecular & Cellular Biology and Principles of Biology. However, we would also consider a Postdoc Lecturer teaching a stand-alone course in addition to recitations, depending on the Department’s teaching needs.
The salary for this 9 month position is $50,000. Postdoc Lecturers are eligible for NYU healthcare benefits.
