NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Postdoctoral Associate in New York, New York

New York University Rory Meyers College of Nursing is committed to development of the next generation of nurse scientists and is seeking to fill a Postdoctoral role with at July 1 start for a one-year appointment. Such individuals would be dedicated to the development of knowledge, new methodologies and interventions aimed at improving health outcomes. This role will report to Dr. Haeok Lee. Dr. Lee is conducting several studies including a NIH funded genetic epidemiology (Alzheimer’s disease and related dementia among Asian Americans and Asian Canadians [ACAD]) and internally funded studies (extend ACAD into Malawians and mHealth intervention to increase HPV-related cancer prevention behavior among Malawians). The postdoctoral associate will actively participate in these funded studies, with the primary focus being a preliminary study of AD and related dementia among Malawians with and without HIV infection and a mHealth Intervention study to promote cancer prevention behavior, and to contribute to the scientific aspects (study design, data analysis, etc.) and implementation.

In compliance with NYC’s Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is $58,500 - $60,000. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) the specific grant funding and the terms of the research grant when extending an offer.
