Likeable Project Manager, Accounts in New York, New York

Project managers are responsible for successful delivery of scoped assets to the client, including ensuring that deliverables are on time, on budget, top quality, and adhere to all objectives outlined in the project brief. This position is client facing - routing feedback, sourcing needed assets from our contacts, and providing updates on deliverables during calls.

Roles and Responsibilities: Social media is an ever-changing field, so although you will have some routine responsibilities, your role is going to require you to adapt slightly every now and then. However, this list should give you a good idea of what your day-to-day obligations will be:

  • Ensure clients clearly understand status of project throughout all phases, including completed tasks, pending deliverables, timelines and outstanding items.

  • Maintain deep knowledge of client brand, preferences, and standards to ensure all deliverables meet expectations and adhere to a high standard of excellence.

  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure client and company objectives are met, including closely collaborating with the creative PM.

  • Perform daily project tracking including resource management, inventory allocation/tracking, and workflow supervision of multiple projects.

  • Maintain organized library of important client documents for easy reference by the team.

  • Approve project expenses for their accounts.

  • Juggle multiple projects and deliverables with ease.

You should have the following skills or competencies:

  • Strong communication skills both internally and externally

  • Disciplined Decision Making

  • Technical Competence/Proficiency with PM Software such as Wrike

  • Critical thinking with the innate ability to solve problems

  • A real understanding of time & resource management

  • Highly organized

  • Detail Oriented

Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s Degree, in marketing or a related field preferred

  • 3 - 5 years agency experience in a client-facing role

  • Digital / Social Media / Content experience at an agency or brand

  • Experience managing multiple projects or initiatives for clients
