We are looking for a highly motivated candidate to join our team that is currently developing human pluripotent stem cell-based approaches for a variety of research purposes. The primary purpose of this position is to design and execute cell biology experiments for generation of human iPSCs, hPSC differentiation, hPSC gene editing and other types of applications.
Design, plan and execute experiments for PCR and molecular cloning (as a part of gene editing team), generation of human iPSCs (reprogramming, hPSC differentiation, and other types of applications.
Author and review laboratory methods and reports, write SOPs.
Participate in developing and establishing relevant new technologies, as needed.
Bachelor's degree in cell biology or other science related fields OR relavent experience.
Skilled in molecular and cell biology techniques including, but not limited to, CRISPR/Cas9 gene editing, flow cytometry, PCR, Western blotting, quantitative PCR, and immunofluorescence techniques.
General cell cultures experience is required. Experience related to human pluripotent stem cell culture is highly preferred.
The candidate must be self-motivated and flourish in a team-based environment.
Experience working on human pluripotent stem cells is a plus.
