NYU Rory Meyers College of Nursing Student Conduct Program Administrator in New York, New York

Position Summary

Manage cases for students participating in the University’s student conduct process and Restorative Resolution program (RRP); provide support for students engaged in the University’s Title IX sexual misconduct procedures; manage intake interviews, provide guidance, and facilitate dialogue through structured experiences;develop and deliver educational campaigns, through the use of print, digital, and social media, for the student community surrounding NYU policy, institutional values, and methods for conflict resolution; and oversee the Student Conduct Suspension Reentry Program, supporting students returning to the University after a disciplinary leave of absence. Required Education:

Bachelor's Degree

Preferred Education:

Master's Degree in counseling, social work, or student affairs administration.

Required Experience:

2+ years of relevant experience or equivalent combination. Must include experience developing and working with conflict resolution services or restorative justice programs.

Preferred Experience:

5+ years of experience working with Title IX programs at a higher education institution.

Required Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Ability to interpret and effectively communicate policies and procedures. Excellent organizational, networking, problem-solving, and analytical skills. Ability to exercise superior judgment and discretion, as well as maintain integrity and confidences.

Preferred Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:

Knowledge of Title IX, state law, and other regulatory law regarding the legal obligations of Universities in relation to student conduct actions and sexual and relationship misconduct.
