JPMorgan Chase UX Designer, Associate - Global Investment & Corporate Banking in New York, New York

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support the overall Product Design process promoting a close collaboration model required to deliver complex highly functional digital products.

  • Support efforts to define an end-to-end product & service experience that achieves established success criteria.

  • Create, present, and document proposed solutions from the biggest idea to the smallest component through crafting of artifacts like user product/data journeys, storyboards, interactive concepts and prototypes, and detailed design specifications.

  • Support the delivery of proposed solutions through deployment and user validation to ensure the vision becomes a reality.

  • Deliver work that is user-friendly, aesthetically engaging, and achieves intended results.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:

  • The ideal candidate is, above all, a maker, who enjoys balancing craft with an academic interest in theory and science of Interaction Design, HCI, and user-centered design methodologies.

  • Foundational education in graphic, industrial, or interaction design or a related degree.

  • Three to five years experience demonstrating expertise in Interaction Design and intermediate proficiency in adjacent skills including user research and concept evaluation, designing with data, visual design, and product development and deployment design support.

  • Demonstrable experience designing rich interactions for desktop, web, and hand-held form factors.

  • Experience designing applications within complex business domains similar to financial services.

  • Track record of successful deliveries and a strong portfolio that highlights both ideas and end-product.

  • Proficiency with UX software such as Figma, Sketch and InVision.
