Job Information Resume Due Date: August 4, 2021 Functional Job Title: Deputy Director, Tolling Technology Department/Division: ITS & Tolling Work Location: Randall's Island Compensation Earnings Potential: Min $ 83,176 Mid $103,971 Hay Points: 634 Overtime Eligibility: Not eligible for paid overtime in accordance with FLSA Responsibilities The Tolling Technology Division is responsible for the ongoing maintenance and operation of B&T’s Open Road Tolling (ORT) Toll Collection System (TCS) which processes more than $1.9B of revenue annually and will also be responsible for the oversight of the Central Business District (CBD) TCS once it is implemented. The Deputy Director is responsible for oversight of the Key Performance Indicator (KPI) auditors of these systems. The Deputy Director will develop new procedures to improve the efficiency of the group as well plan for and implement the integration of new positions needed to support the oversight of the CBD TCS KPI's. This position will play a key role in ensuring that B&T's revenue is collected in the most reliable and accurate way possible. This position reports directly to the Director of Operations -Tolling Technology. Qualifications Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: Computer Science, Business/Business Administration, Management, Systems Engineering, Engineering, Accounting, Economics, Finance, IT or related field, or Operations * 8 Years’ experience in tolling and facility-based systems * 5 years of supervisory experience * Design and operation of B&T’s existing toll collection system * System Maintenance Operations * Oversight of audit process and reporting of KPI's * Project management scheduling and cost estimating tools * Interact daily with a broad spectrum of individuals from rank and file to senior staff * Superior oral communication skills * Manage long term projects and large day-to-day systems operations he/she must be able multi-task and effectively delegate * Strong interpersonal abilities and the ability to foster the cooperation of a wide range of individuals and entities * Ability to handle emergency situations requiring quick and creative thinking and an ability to develop a plan of action on the spot.
