Hospital Medical Technologist

Openings in Blood Bank and Hematology. Perform routine testing on human specimens for diagnostics of patients.

This is a fast paced, high stress environment. The overnight shift has minimal supervision so candidates need to be responsible.

These shifts are M-F with rotating holidays and weekends. The schedule usually comes out 4-6 weeks in advance and will be on a 2 week rotation. When candidates work Saturday an Sunday they will get off 2 days during the week. Those 2 days off won't necessarily be the same days every cycle but the schedule will be posted several weeks in advance so candidates can plan out their weeks.

(1) Blood Bank - 11pm-8am

(2) Hematology - 11pm-8am

1. 4 weeks of vacation (vacation time is accrued and not front loaded, and is not available to use until after 6 months of employment)

2. 8 company holidays + 11 sick days

3. 3 personal days ( personal days are granted on Jan 1 for all FT employees, not prorated throughout the year)

4. Tuition reimbursement up to $7,000 per year for clinical positions

5. OT is available

6. We offer medical, dental, vision and life insurance on voluntary basis 1st of the month following 60 days of continuous employment, but well subsidized by the Hospital.

7. 403(b) defined contribution retirement plan with 2% match and 3% basic employer contribution.
