The Inventory control is the perfect position for an organized, self-motivated and analytical individual who will coordinate inventory control through:

  • Monitoring and maintaining current inventory levels; processes purchasing orders as required; tracks orders and investigates problems.

  • Records purchases, maintains database, performs physical count of inventory, and reconciles actual stock count to computer-generated reports.

  • Receives, unpacks, and merchandises goods; re-stocks items as necessary; labels shelves.

  • Processes and documents returns as required following established procedures.

  • Performs routine clerical duties, including data entry, answering telephones, and assisting customers.

  • Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

To qualify for the Inventory Control position the candidate must have three to six years of related experience. The ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to prepare routine administrative paperwork, reconcile stock counts to report data, ability to analyze and solve problems.
