Machine Operator

Do you enjoy hands-on work and have an eye for detail? We are looking for Machine Operators to work in a warehouse environment located in Riverhead, NY. This is an entry-level position with no experience needed. This is a great opportunity to develop new skills and gain experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities

SHIFT TIMES:

M-W 7:00am - 7:00pm TH 7:00am - 11:00am

OR

M-W 7:00pm - 7:00am TH 7:00pm - 11:00pm

The Converting Operator’s primary function is to process customer orders with the highest degree of efficiency and quality in a Manufacturing environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Must be able to operate and set up all slitting machines including the baloney cutter without supervision.

• Know how to check, set up, and measure baloney slit rolls...

• Make sure the baloney cutter blade is sharp and properly lubricated and replace it if required.

• Know when and how to change rubber mandrel covers on baloney cutter.

• Knowledgeable on how to pack all material off small slitters and baloney cutter, as required

The essential functions of this role include:

• wearing steel toe shoes

• manual lifting up to 40lbs

• standing for 4 hours at one time
