Job Description:

Leads and reviews the work of direct reports to accomplish daily and near-term production plans based on the prioritization of revenue goals, sales orders, cost objectives, material availability, equipment efficiencies, and product introductions. Assists with planning and implementing procedures to control capital expenditures and direct/indirect labor efforts. Provides input on hiring, firing, promotion, performance and/or compensation decisions for own organization. Manages manufacturing initiatives requiring in-depth collaboration with production planning and multi-disciplined engineering to optimize product assembly, test, quality, configuration and shipping.

  • Prior experience supporting the design, documentation, requirements management, integration, troubleshooting and/or testing analysis of electronic, mechanical and/or software devices, products and systems

  • Thoroughly familiar with hand tools and light manufacturing-related equipment

  • Strong communication and teaming skills

  • Excellent attention to detail

  • Willingness to work and learn in a fast-paced production environment

  • Proficient computer skills, including MS Office suite, Oracle EBS, and Agile

  • Extensive knowledge of Lean Manufacturing Principles

    Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum 6 years prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree with a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Business or Engineering-related undergraduate degree

  • Secret security clearance
