Job Description:

We are seeking an Electrical Engineer with strong mixed signal Circuit Card Assembly (CCA) design skills. The candidate should have experience designing embedded processor circuit boards using CAD tools. They should also have successfully implemented designs in fielded systems, and constructed test and integration plans. The candidate must have a proven track record of meeting system requirements, schedule deadlines, and project budgets. Responsibilities will require working within a team of engineers developing designs based on modeling and simulations. The candidate should expect to work with Systems Engineers and other development team members in translating system performance and operational specifications into hardware requirements, design, and test specifications. The relevant electronic system designs include motor control circuits and filtering, signal processing, command and control, communications, and user interfaces for communication system applications.

Must meet L3 core hours of 8:00 AM to 3:30 PM.

Essential Qualifications & Skills:

  • BSEE degree in electrical engineering, MSEE preferred, plus 4+ years additional relevant experience

  • Experience implementing high speed memory and low noise/voltage power regulation designs

  • Experience with communications buses such as RS485, Mil-Std-1553, ARINC-429, SPI and I2C is a plusExperience working in a laboratory environment using spectrum analyzers and oscilloscopes to test and verify functionality

  • Able to obtain and maintain a security clearance

  • Able to work from oral and written instructions, be dependable, positive, assertive, a team player and have a strong desire to succeed

  • Excellent communications skills to expeditiously coordinate efforts through all phases of the manufacturing and engineering process while contributing in a high performance team environment to meet customer needs

  • Willingness to work overtime and weekends when need for project and program success
