FIFCO USA Supply Planning Manager in Rochester, New York

JOB SUMMARY

The Supply Planning Manager will be responsible for ensuring commercial and contract finished goods are produced and available to ship to wholesalers on the requested ship date. This individual will be responsible for the scheduling process as well as inventory management of finished goods and raw materials. In addition, the SPM will work closely with all areas of supply chain including Demand Planning, Purchasing, Brewing, Production, and Customer Service.

JOB TYPE: Exempt

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Successfully manage the Supply Planning function in its entirety for FIFCO USA

  • Generate a rolling supply forecast for all Commercial brands at the SKU level to drive purchasing, sourcing/production, warehousing, logistics, personnel, and financial actions for the organization

  • Plan and publish detailed production schedule at the SKU level for Rochester Brewery, optimizing overall efficiency

  • Manage inventory of WIP and finished goods at onsite and offsite locations

  • Actively participate in weekly and/or monthly supply chain calls, to manage planning and production of new item implementation and phase outs

  • Work with the Wholesaler Support team to manage out of stocks and obsolescence

  • Develop KPIs and targets for all core Supply Planning metrics which include: Inventory Turnover, OTIF Service, Economic Lot Size production, and Obsolescence reduction

  • Initiation and utilization of systems/features within ERP not currently being used to improve the efficiency of the role

  • Development of “what if” process to handle demand fluctuations that are not normally accommodated by the scheduling process

  • Actively exhibit a commitment to support a diverse and inclusive work environment

EDUCATION, SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field

  • 10+ years of Supply Planning experience, preferably with consumer beer or packaged goods

  • Previous training on APICS Demand Planning principles is a plus
