Title: UX/UI Designer

About the Job

Kodak Alaris is seeking an UX/UI Designer to drive creation of innovative digital experiences for the Kodak Moments business. Efforts will live within the Kodak Moments digital eco-system as well as white label client experiences including native apps (iOS and Android), web and kiosk.

  • Evaluate product experiences (iOS and Android, web, kiosk) and recommend feature improvements per defined requirements

  • Lead and conduct user testing (qualitative and quantitative) to gather insights, test usability and validate proposals through rapid prototyping

  • Lead or participate in design sprints or workshops

  • Evangelize and defend design approach across the organization

  • Create and communicate scenarios, interaction models, end-to-end user flows, and user interface specifications to cross-functional teams including product managers, program managers, developers and engineers

  • Align solutions according to the Kodak Moments design system

  • Contribute to the Kodak Moments design system

  • Partner with developers and QA by clarifying questions and concerns during implementation

  • Support the affirmative team culture with openness, optimism and a willingness to help

About You

We're interested in a self-directed, motivated individual who has a relentless drive for innovation and is never satisfied with the status quo. You are a passionate and result-driven individual who has the following:

  • Bachelors or Masters degree or relevant professional experience in graphic design, visual design, interaction design, user experience design, human computer interaction or related degree

  • 3-4+ years in UX, UI, Product Design or equivalent field

  • Portfolio of sample projects highlighting design for consumer-facing native apps, and/or web-based applications

  • Deep understanding of cutting edge UI technology trends and UX methodologies

  • Ability to perform with ambiguity or when requirements are in flux

  • Proven experience showing clear understanding of the intersection between user needs, technology constraints, and business goals

  • Fosters a positive, inclusive approach to design process with a willingness to collaborate in cross-functional team environment

  • Comfort in delivering solutions and performing tasks within agile workflow

  • Aesthetic eye for design and the ability to think creatively while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail

  • Excellent organizational, time and project management skills

  • Business-minded approach to time, costs and deadlines

  • Persuasive presentation, negotiation and written communication skills

  • Expert working knowledge in digital design and collaboration tools including: Sketch App, Invision, Zeplin, Illustrator, Photoshop and equivalent product design tools

  • Competency with Usertesting.com or equivalent usability testing tools

  • Familiarity with industry standard animation tools (ie. After Effects)

  • Experience in digital photo industry a plus
