Position Summary:

  • Primary function is initiating new physician referrals to help promote growth and strengthen referral sources

  • Utilize measurable and time frame goals to guide activities

  • Daily travel to doctors' offices to educate on our clinical services and initiate referrals for the bariatric service line

  • Assisting with patient information seminars and all aspects of physician and community outreach

  • Call on targeted physician offices with a disciplined reach and frequency model that will drive growth

  • Work collaboratively in developing and implementing outreach, relationship building and appropriate plans to meet goals

  • You must have excellent communication skills, a professional manner, and feel comfortable talking to physicians and medical office staff

  • Utilize administrative skills to submit accurate and timely reports relative to territory management, physician targeting, messaging and referral growth

  • Provide insight and resolution management for any issues identified by referring physician

  • Respond to all requests in a professional and timely manner

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for managing territory of primary care physicians/internists and all other applicable specialties

  • Market all aspects of bariatric program including plastic surgery

  • Action planning/business analysis

  • Educational Lunch & Learns

  • Host in-person and online educational seminars

Requirements and Qualifications:

  • Requires a bachelor's degree, in business, marketing or health-related field.

  • Requires a minimum of five (5) years of sales experience, preferably in the healthcare/pharmaceutical field

  • Demonstrated skills, knowledge and experience in sales and territory management

  • Skilled in all areas of content development and design

  • Complete understanding of emerging technologies to enhance employee and physician communication and engagement.

  • Strong financial management skills - Vice President oversees department budget
