Summary: To perform electrical and mechanical repairs or preventative maintenance in order to ensure production equipment performs as required.
THIS IS A ROTATING, 12 HOUR NIGHT POSITION FROM 7:00PM - 7:00AM, INCLUDING SOME WEEKENDS.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Install, alter, maintain, troubleshoot and repair electrical and mechanical molding equipment, pneumatic, hydraulic and PLC system when needed.
Perform all required Machine preventative maintenance tasks within the timeline specified on all assigned equipment in the molding department.
Perform all tasks and complete any required documentation in ISO/ SQF.
Assist with any other tasks asked of you when needed in order to be a team player and help out wherever you may be needed.

Education and/or Experience:
Associate Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from two-year college or technical school or six months to three years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education or experience.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardized exists. Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
