Global Security, Emergency and Crisis Management Director

About the Role

The global security, emergency and crisis Director will be responsible
for delivering the global framework for these areas across all our
manufacturing sites both Global Manufacturing (GM) and Health & Medical
Solutions (HMS). This includes the full assessment of: Physical &
Personnel security; Security Risk assessment, auditing; Emergency
response plans; Crisis management; Travel risk management; Integration
with Loss Prevention Program; Integration with Building & Constructions
assessment program.

What You Will Do

Deliver plan, initiatives, trainings, communications to all employees in
GM and HMS.

Lead the loss prevention actions and implement mitigation strategies
against internal and external loss events.

Perform security-related investigations, follow up of incidents and KPIs
included in RESH and design risk reduction programs and
countermeasures.

Prepare the business for special situation management and advise
external & internal customer of threaten related to emergency and
security. And prepare all the scenarios for supply chain related to
business continuity.

Ensure that contingency plans and emergency response procedures are
fully implemented, communicated and trained.

Maintain situational awareness of the countries environment and inform
all main stakeholders and functional peers to align on the different
strategies.

Advise, participate and review the selection of local security
contractors (security guards, surveillance, emergency services and
providers in all our production sites).

Ensure all the security, emergency and crisis contractors meet all
Essity requirements, standards, KPI's measurement, and support all site
managers and RESH managers in this assessment.

Facilitate sharing of best practices across the sites and create a
security/crisis network to build best practices and guarantee business
integrity.

Connect and align with the Building construction assessment program to
support this capex investment with the physical security assessments.

Join the insurance audits and follow up on actions globally.

Be the spoken person for GM and HMS when necessary and advise our
Presidents and VPs in the right approach to lead the global crisis (i.e
COVID-19).

Main point of contact for external partners such as: international SOS
and Control Risks.
Who You Are

Previous experience in a multinational company in the supply chain
area

Experience in conducting security risk assessments and security audits

More than 5 years' experience working within Security and crisis
management

Familiar with Enterprise Risk Management

Global knowledge, general awareness on political and government
situations

Experience with travel security best practices

Previous experience with partners International SOS, Control risks,
etc.

Military or similar background would be a plus

Fluent in English (other languages would be an advantage i.e. Spanish or
German).

Strong verbal and written communications

Analytical skills

High level of professional and personal integrity, ethics, and role
model

Ability to build network and advise all levels of the organization

Ability to deal with global complex-matrix organizations

Availability to travel 60% of the time.
