    Chief Operating Officer at Arc of Onondaga

    Established non-profit provider of services to people with intellectual and developmental disabilities seeking individual to serve as Chief Operating Officer.

    The Chief Operating Officer is responsible for leading, managing and planning for a comprehensive array of services, supports, programs and the agency's business operations, including but not limited to community supports, employment supports, clinical services, centralized intake, plan coordination, and custodial/production business contracts.

    Job Requirements

  • Leads, directs, supports, and encourages collaboration between division directors, supervisors, and over 200 employees.

  • Encourages collaboration between departments and divisions to ensure delivery of person-centered services and integration of clinical services.

  • Demonstrates knowledge of philosophy, guidelines, regulations and planning requirements for programs, supports and service areas.

  • Must have a working knowledge of OPWDD/HCBS mandated regulations and other pertinent regulations to ensure ongoing compliance with local, state and federal regulations.

  • Works collaboratively on strategic planning and future development opportunities.

  • Develops and maintains partnerships within the community to promote Agency services.

  • Monitors assigned budgets and ensures fiscal soundness.

  • Promotes and embodies the mission of Arc of Onondaga.

    Preferred Education & Experience

  • Master's degree in Management, Education, Social Work, Psychology or another related field.

  • Five to ten years of work/supervisory experience in the human services field.
