Key Job Responsibilities:
Your job responsibilities as a Compressor MBD Mechanical Engineering Co-op will include:
Contribute to development of new products by working with customers and multi-functional team members to establish requirements for work that needs to be completed.
Contribute to development of new products by working with multi-functional team members to complete key engineering modeling, calculations, and layout work.
Work with cross functional team members to plan, complete, and document investigative tests, performance tests, and reliability tests.
Work with cross functional team members to document and present key findings and project status in order to get approval from key partners in the development process.
Experience / Qualifications:
US Citizen or Permanent Resident
Proactive and results-driven; thrives in a fast paced and dynamic environment
Excellent analytical and communication skills
Relevant internships or co-op experiences within Engineering functions
Less than one year of professional work experience/internship experience
Familiarity with GD&T, experience preferred.
The engineer must be an innovative person with strong verbal and written communication skills, sound judgment, and high energy. He/she must thrive in a work environment with globally distributed cross functional teams and be willing to drive projects to closure by chipping in wherever work needs to be completed.
Pursuing a Bachelors/Master’s degree in an Engineering, Digital, or STEM-related field
3.2 GPA preferred, 3.0 minimum
