One of the top leading biopharmaceutical companies in Westchester county is hiring for a Lab Assistant to join their team!

Description:

Basic understanding of PCR analysis in a GMP environment

Familiarity with Elisa assay

Testing Shelf life, PH, titration

Perform physical sampling and testing of raw ingredients, packaging materials and finished goods products in accordance with established guidelines. Ability to apply and interpret results.

Perform microbiological/bacteriological sampling and testing of food products in accordance with established guidelines. Ability to apply and interpret results.

Identify and effectively communicate any out-of-specification test results.

Ability to prepare various media solutions used in the laboratory.

Calibrate and maintain all lab testing equipment.

Perform good laboratory housekeeping within established housekeeping guidelines.

Work together professionally with co-workers and other department personnel.

Lab coats and gloves will be required while working. Specific site training, automation, computers, and any other material in support of compound management activities will be provided.

Data handling, inventory tracking, accurate record keeping and following established Standard Operating Procedures for assigned tasks
