Assistant Project Manager

We are currently seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join one of New York's leading Architectural Stone Companies. Qualified candidates have basic knowledge of reading blueprints, some familiarity with the construction industry, and the desire to grow in a fast-paced career path. Responsibilities

• Review architectural drawings, estimates, shop drawings, and field dimensions

• Research materials, confirm quantities, order and track deliveries throughout the life of the project

• Perform administrative duties including the creation of purchase orders, change orders & requests for information, submitting samples & other submittals, and filing digital information & paperwork

• Maintain organized job files on company servers

• Track job budgets and update project status sheets to assist Project Manager in hitting deadlines and profitability targets

• Be organized and engaged enough in projects to answer basic questions and produce information and backup as needed
