Aerotek Aviation's client is seeking to hire a hydraulics tester! Candidates should possess average mechanical and troubleshooting skills as well as a desire to work in a fast paced, high volume repair shop environment. Previous knowledge of aircraft and/or industrial actuation systems and the ability to read blueprints is a big plus. Through continuous training and personal development, the Technician shall be able to work in high-tech environment. The Technician must be detail oriented and well organized and responsible for a wide variety of functions that support the assembly and production team. Such functions include part handling, cleaning, and marking; Sub-assembly and Top-level assembly; Safety wiring and flushing. The Technician must be willing to work with computers and be a motivated team player.

Ideal candidates will have basic hydraulics experience.

Responsibilities Include:

• Mate and Assembly components using a variety of tools and methods not limited to Hand, Electric, and Pneumatic tools; Wrenches, Sockets, Screwdrivers, Torque drivers; Helical Insert Installation Tools; Arbor-press; as well as custom job-specific tooling

• Install electrical components such as LVDT’s and Switches

• Must be able to read and interpret mechanical and electrical diagrams and schematics

• Select, setup, and follow procedures using fixturing and tooling described in company documents

• Enter and retrieve data from the company computer system

• Maintain a clean and safe work area
